Red Line problems resolved

January 28, 2009 - 10:43am
BETHESDA, Md. -- Metro's Red Line is getting back to normal after fire crews investigated a report of smoke in a tunnel.

The subway ran on a single track between Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations for part of Wednesday morning.

After inspecting two miles of track that run through a tunnel, fire officials told WTOP either an insulator caught fire or debris caught fire.
