Jeffress wins inaugural Fiji International by 4

NATADOLA BAY, Fiji (AP) — Steven Jeffress of Australia shot a 2-under 70 Sunday to win the inaugural Fiji International by four strokes.

Jeffress had a 72-hole total of 10-under 278 in the Australasian PGA Tour and OneAsia event.

Australians also filled the next three placings — Jake Higginbottom second after a 70 and Terry Pilkadaris (71) and Andrew Dodt (76) were tied for third, eight strokes behind the winner. Jeffress and Higginbottom led by two strokes after three rounds.

South Korea’s Hur In-hoi was fifth Sunday after a 75, nine strokes behind Jeffress.

Three-time major winner Vijay Singh of Fiji, who designed the Natadola Bay Championship course which features 15 oceanside holes, finished tied for 10th after a 73 Sunday, 12 strokes behind Jeffress.
