Comcast SportsNet keeps D.C. United deal

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic LP has signed a three-year extension to carry some D.C. United games.

The agreement gives Comcast SportsNet a minimum of 16 live games each season through 2015.

The first game will air on Comcast SportsNet May 8 when D.C.’s soccer team faces the Houston Dynamo.

The last game this year will be the Sept. 15 match against the Los Angeles Galaxy.

D.C. United has 30 games remaining on this season’s schedule through Oct. 27. Other games are carried on ESPN, NBC Sports Network and MLS Live.
