‘Lamborghini Batman’ to Attend Bethesda Family Festival

Lenny Robinson, the Lamborghini Batman, will appear at this year's Come Back to Bethesda eventThe so-called “Lamborghini Batman” will be on hand at the Come Back to Bethesda festival soon to pose for photos and raise money for The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health.

Lamborghini Batman, aka Lenny Robinson, made international headlines in 2012 when police pulled him over in his black Batmobile-like Lamborghini in Silver Spring. Robinson, a Baltimore County resident, was photographed in his full Batman suit chatting with police on the sidewalk.

His reason for wearing the Batman gear and driving the Lamborghini (he also has a 1966 replica Batmobile) soon became apparent; he regularly visits sick children in hospitals and attends fundraising events in costume.

Come Back To Bethesda will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 on Cheltenham Road near the Chevy Chase Acura dealership (7725 Wisconsin Ave.).

Robinson will attend with his Batmobile from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festival will include a vintage, classic and custom car show, plus games, activities and performances.
