Bethesda Native Pleads Guilty To Making Ricin – A former Georgetown student and Walt Whitman High School graduate pleaded guilty on Monday to making ricin in his dorm room. Daniel Milzman, 19, faces up to two years in prison at sentencing. [NBCWashington]
BOE Candidates Forum – The Walt Whitman High School PTA cluster will host a forum for Board of Education candidates on Wednesday, Oct. 15 in Potomac. All eight candidates (two candidates are running for each of the four open seats) are expected to attend. The event is set for 7 p.m. at the River Falls Clubhouse (7915 Horseshoe Lane, Potomac).
Gallery B October Exhibit – Painters Gongsan Kim and Chris Luckman and sculpture artist George Tkabladze will put their works on display for Gallery B October’s exhibit.
