Property owner JBG is advertising for a restaurant tenant at the location along the Bethesda Avenue side of the building. It’s also asking the Planning Board for permission to modify the inside and outside public use spaces to set up more space for the future restaurant.
If JBG lands a new eatery, it’ll have plenty of competition.
Bethesda Row is a half-block to the west and the Lot 31 project will bring Silver Diner’s new, more upscale “Silver” concept plus PassionFish, a well-reviewed seafood restaurant with a location in Reston. There are also locally owned places including Markham’s (7141 Wisconsin Ave.), Pitzze Table (7137 Wisconsin Ave.) and Food Wine & Co. (7272 Wisconsin Ave.) nearby.
