Hinode Out, Tako Grill In At Shoppes of Bethesda – More changes at the Shoppes of Bethesda: Wisconsin Avenue’s Tako Grill will take the place of Hinode Japanese Restaurant, which has been in Bethesda since 1992. The same shopping center is adding major national chains Noodles & Co., Dunkin’ Donuts and Soul Cycle. [Bethesda Magazine]

Pike & Rose Takes Shape – The first phase of Developer Federal Realty’s Pike & Rose project is taking shape, with street signs, sidewalks, curbs and decorative building facades. One building is painted with the logo of the Corby Baking Co., an old D.C. company founded in 1890. Street signs are up for Old Georgetown Road and Grand Park Avenue, which will serve as the main north-south road through the development. [Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row]
