Convicted Lululemon Killer Wants New Trial – Brittany Norwood, who’s serving a life prison sentence for the 2011 murder of her Lululemon co-worker, is appealing for a new trial. Norwood’s attorneys filed an appeal Monday in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, arguing police didn’t tell Norwood of her right to remain silent and consult an attorney during certain interviews. Norwood’s attorneys also said prosecutors improperly presented a police officer’s testimony as expert opinion about a specific knife wound. The appeal could be heard as soon as September.
