Bethesda Man Dies In Beltway Wreck – James Wharton Eadie, a 90-year-old Bethesda resident, died at the hospital after his car ran over a barrier and down an embankment Saturday on the outer loop of the Beltway. Maryland State Police said Eadie’s car hit a cement barrier and struck a light pole before going down an embankment between Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue. The crash closed the outer loop for about two hours on Saturday afternoon. Police don’t know why Eadie crashed. [WTOP]

Frosh Set To Debate Braveboy, Cardin In AG Primary – The three Democrats seeking the party’s attorney general nomination will debate on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Maryland-College Park. Cardin, the nephew of U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, has led most polls, despite Frosh’s long list of backers representing much of the state’s political leadership. Frosh is expected to attack Cardin’s record during this year’s General Assembly, when the Baltimore County delegate missed almost 75 percent of his committee votes. “When you don’t show up to do your job you have now, that’s a pretty good sign you shouldn’t get a promotion,” Frosh said. MCPS Switches To “Dye-Free” Frozen Desserts – Advocates calling for healthier food options in MCPS cafeterias say they scored another victory — this time in regards to the “Sidekicks” frozen juice desserts on the school system’s menus. The MCPS Division of Food and Nutrition Services has replaced the desert with one from the same company that doesn’t include any artificial ingredients. Last year, the Real Food for Kids Montgomery group convinced MCPS to ditch strawberry flavored milk. [Real Food for Kids]
