Weekly Crime Report: April 21 to April 29

An assault and burglary at a Bradley Boulevard apartment leads our weekly crime report:

An aggravated assault/residential burglary occurred in the 4700 Bradley Boulevard in Bethesda on Saturday, 4/26. The suspect is known to the victim.

Arrested: Female, age 46, from Bethesda 

Two thefts from vehicles occurred overnight between Thursday, 4/24 and Friday, 4/25 by unknown means, one on Milford Avenue and one on East West Highway in Chevy Chase Village.

Seven thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat during this reporting period. Forced entry into various vehicles; minor items taken. Incidents occurred in garages located on Wisconsin Avenue, Cheltenham Drive and Woodmont Avenue.

A residential burglary occurred in the 10600 block of Parkwood Drive in Kensington on Monday, 4/28 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. No forced entry; property taken.

A theft occurred in the 5500 block of Randolph Road in North Bethesda sometime over the weekend between Saturday, 4/25 and Monday, 4/28. Property was taken from behind the building.

A residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of Norwood Drive in Chevy Chase on Wednesday, 4/23 between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. No forced entry; property taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred in this beat during this reporting period. Doors were left unlocked; cash, credit cards and clothing were taken. Incidents occurred on Chamberlin Avenue, Greenway Drive and Westway Drive in Bethesda.
