Dave & Buster’s Tries Again In Suit Against White Flint Mall – The legal wrangling over at the soon-to-be redeveloped mall continues, this time with Dave & Buster’s appealing a decision from a federal judge that ruled the restaurant and arcade chain violated its White Flint lease by opening another nearby location at Arundel Mills Mall. Dave & Buster’s, like Lord & Taylor, sued to stop the redevelopment of the mall. A judge, like in the Lord & Taylor case, has essentially ruled the tenants won’t be able to stop the redevelopment. White Flint Mall didn’t bring up Dave & Buster’s violation of its so-called “radius restriction” until Dave & Buster’s sued. [Washington Business Journal]

Union, Teachers To Wear Red Thursday For More School Funding – Teachers’ union President Doug Prouty and other educators will be wearing red on Thursday when they testify in front of the County Council on County Executive Isiah Leggett’s proposed operating budget. But Prouty’s Montgomery County Education Association wants the county to fund schools at the level proposed by MCPS Superintendent Joshua Starr. [MCEA]
