Bobby’s Burger Palace To Open Oct. 22 At Montgomery Mall

A One new restaurant part of Westfield Montgomery Mall’s ongoing facelift will be open and ready to go in a few weeks.

Bobby’s Burger Palace, celebrity chef Bobby Flay’s rapidly expanding fast casual burger concept, is set to open its doors in the mall on Oct. 22, according to a spokesperson.

The menu offers 10 burgers, including the staple Crunchburger, which means double American cheese and potato chips between your buns. Any burger can be “crunchified.” There are also sandwiches, salads, fries, onion rings, milkshakes and malts.

Flay will be in town to open up the store, what will be his third in Maryland. There’s one in College Park and another at the Maryland Live! casino in Hanover.

Flay opened his first Burger Palace in 2008 in New York. There are now 15 in eight states and D.C.

The restaurant will be one of a few new ones coming to the mall, which is undergoing a food court renovation before a new luxury movie theater is completed next year. Soon joining Bobby’s Burger Place will be Wicked Waffle and the Cheesecake Factory, which is moving from its existing location at White Flint Mall before the mall is redeveloped.
