County To Audit Trash Contractors In Wake Of Labor Dispute — This week’s strike and now lockout at Potomac Disposal, a county trash pick-up contractor, will prompt an audit of the company’s salary records. County law requires all county contractors to pay workers at least the living wage threshold, which is $13.95 an hour. [Washington Post]

Air Rights Center To Become “Bethesda Crossing” — The office complex in downtown Bethesda will be rebranded as “Bethesda Crossing,” according to the developers that bought the properties earlier this year. There will also be renovations and additions to the existing buildings, including a new fitness center. [Washington Business Journal]

State Highway Wants To Build Cell Tower In Carderock — The State Highway Administration will hold a meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 17 about a plan to construct a cell tower near Persimmon Tree Lane in the Carderock neighborhood.
