The Bethesda Urban Partnership is looking for 100 volunteers to help run the 24th Annual Taste of Bethesda, set for Oct. 5 in Woodmont Triangle.
The organization needs volunteers to help set up booths, sell tickets, pass out giveaways and give out parking information.
Shifts run from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m:
Set-Up Team Shifts: 7 – 10am
The set-up team assists with placing tablecloths on all event tables, hanging signs, assisting restaurants with set-up and sets up drink tents.
Ticket Booth Team Shifts: 10:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30 – 4pm
Assist with selling tickets and answering questions from attendees. *Must be over the age of 18.
Drink Tent Team Shifts: 10:30am – 1:30pm, 1:30 – 4pm
Assist with selling drinks, passing out giveaways and answering questions.
Roving Team Shifts: 10am-1pm, 1- 4pm
Rovers will be responsible for relieving other volunteers for short breaks and will serve on all teams.
Parking Team Shifts: 11am – 1:30pm, 1:30 – 4pm
Distribute parking information and event maps from assigned posts in parking garages and lots.
