Police say missing Germantown man found safe

WASHINGTON – Omar Tyreen Webster, 31, has been located safe and unharmed, Montgomery County police say.

He was reported missing on July 7.

WASHINGTON – Police are searching for a man from Germantown who has been reported missing.

Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Omar Tyreen Webster, 31, of Chalet Drive in Germantown. Webster was last seen yesterday at about 7 p.m. at a Whole Foods store in Gaithersburg.

Webster is described as a black male who is 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans and gray sneakers with green soles.

Police say they and Webster’s family are worried about his mental well-being. They are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Montgomery County police using their non-emergency number, 301-279-8000.
