Gun Turn-In Day Nets 111 Guns, 1 Grenade — Montgomery County’s Gun Turn-In Day resulted in the turn-in of 69 handguns, 27 rifles, 15 shotguns, one grenade, 11 BB guns, one sword and about 10,000 rounds of ammunition, according to police. Maryland Ranked 41st For Business, According To Survey — The Connecticut-based Chief Executive Group recently ranked Maryland 41st in the country for best states to do business in because of tax increases and proposals to raise the minimum wage and make paid sick leave mandatory.
