CLEVELAND (AP) — The Indians have activated outfielder Ryan Raburn from the disabled list.

Raburn was placed on the DL on Aug. 19 with a sore right wrist he injured while making a diving catch. Raburn will bat seventh as the designated hitter Tuesday night when the Indians, routed 12-1 by Detroit in the opener, continue their four-game series against the Tigers.

Raburn, who played six seasons with Detroit, has struggled in his second year with Cleveland. He’s batting just .191 with three home runs and 21 RBIs in 70 games.

Released by Detroit after the 2012 season, the 33-year-old was a nice surprise after he signed as a free agent with the Indians in 2013. He batted .272 with 16 homers and 55 RBIs last season.
