Rockies’ Tulowitzki out a day after hurting leg

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Major league batting leader Troy Tulowitzki was out of the Colorado Rockies’ lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, a day after hurting a leg.

The Rockies shortstop had a cramp in the tensor fascia latae of his left thigh while running out an infield grounder Saturday night. He is day to day.

Tulowitzki is batting .340 with a major league-best .434 on-base percentage.
