Man killed in crash on Md. Route 100 in Pasadena

PASADENA, Md. (AP) — Police say a 35-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on a highway in Pasadena.

Anne Arundel County police say Edward Gray Jr. was heading west on Maryland Route 100 on Saturday morning when he drifted into the center median. Police say he then overcorrected, crossed the travel lanes and hit some trees before his car came to a stop in a ditch.

Gray was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the crash occurred between 5:30 and 6 a.m., but the car wasn’t discovered until a passerby spotted the car around 7:30 a.m.
