A corrected version of the story is below:

1 slain, 2 wounded in Hagerstown, Md., shooting

1 dead, 2 wounded in Hagerstown, Md., shooting; police say others may be involved

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Hagerstown police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and two wounded.

Capt. Paul Kifer says all three people shot Monday evening along Hager Street are male. Kifer identified the slain man as 30-year-old Corey Lynell Lee of Frederick.

He says one victim is being treated at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown and the other was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

Kifer says police are trying to determine if any other people were involved in the violence that broke out around 8 p.m.

Kifer says witnesses have told police there were four to five people in the area where the shootings occurred, about six blocks south of the city center.
