BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore police say a toddler whose mother reported that she suffered a playground injury was actually a homicide victim.
Police said Friday that 2-year-old London Clayborne died of blunt force trauma.
The girl died in early May. Police say her mother flagged down an officer and said she needed help. The woman reported that the girl had been injured on a playground.
London was taken to a hospital. She died there, about a half-hour after her mother flagged down the officer.
Police haven’t arrested anyone or named any suspects.
