Police ask public for information on 2012 slaying

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Annapolis police are asking for information in a two-year-old homicide.

Police have not made an arrest in the slaying on June 23, 2012, of 29-year-old Orlando McDaniel. Authorities say he was found shot multiple times in the 1100 block of Madison Street. He was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Annapolis Police Detective Jon-Paul Hipsky tells The Capital of Annapolis (http://bit.ly/1sAqgSf) says numerous people have been interviewed, but there has not been a real break in the case.

He says police believe even if people didn’t witness the shooting, they may have information about it.

Anyone with any information about the case can call Hipsky at 410-268-9000.
