Charges issued for Red Roof Inn killing

WASHINGTON – Police have issued an arrest warrant for the man still believed to be with a missing 8-year-old girl.

Prince George’s County police say that Kahlil Malik Tatum, 51, of Southeast D.C., killed his wife Andrea D. Tatum who was found inside a Red Roof Inn in Oxon Hill Thursday.

Police went to the motel Thursday morning as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Relisha Rudd and found Andrea Tatum, 51 of D.C. She suffered a gunshot wound, according to police.

D.C. police continue their search for Relisha and believe she is with Kahlil Tatum, who faces a murder charge.

Prince George’s police found a white pickup truck that Kahlil Tatum was believed to be driving Thursday evening. The truck was empty and left in the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue in Chapel Oaks.

Anyone who sees Relisha or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 202-727-9099.
