Va. police seeking suspect in fatal shooting

BRISTOW, Va. (AP) — Prince William County police are searching for a suspect in a fatal shooting in Bristow that left one woman dead.

Police say 35-year-old Edward Hale is wanted for murder in connection to the death of 31-year-old Jessica Wilson.

Police say officers responded to a report of a shooting on Lednock Way just before 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. When the officers arrived they found Wilson suffering from a gunshot wound. Wilson was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Police say witnesses told the officers that Hale and Wilson knew each other and that before the shooting they had gotten into an argument.

Police say they believe Hale is no longer in the area. A phone number listed for Hale was disconnected on Sunday.
