TOWSON, Md. (AP) — Baltimore County rescuers are searching for the body of a man who was last seen falling into the waters of Maryland’s Pretty Boy Dam.
Police and fire officials say the man was seen hanging over the dam and then falling into the water Friday evening. Rescuers responded and searched until it was dark.
Baltimore County police identified the man Sunday as 30-year-old Patrick McTague of Alexandria, Virginia. Rescuers are now working to recover the body. Police are monitoring the waters around the dam for when the body resurfaces.
Police say conditions around the dam are too dangerous to send divers into the water.
