WASHINGTON – What’s more important to you — sex or surfing the web?

The New York Daily News reports that a new study finds 21 percent of Americans would go without sex for an entire year in order to maintain Internet access. The percentage was much higher in Japan, where 56 percent said they’d give up sex for the Internet.

The Boston Consulting Group study also found that 77 percent of Americans would give up chocolate, 73 percent would give up alcohol and 69 percent would give up coffee for a year — all in order to stay connected to the Web.
