Warm and muggy conditions have been the story for the start of the week but will they hang around through Friday?

A weak frontal boundary will be affecting the D.C. area through tomorrow night as it interacts with a very warm and humid air mass. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are ending. Otherwise, a mild and muggy night is ahead.

More showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast tomorrow, as temperatures head back into the middle and upper 80s. If an area of low pressure develops along that boundary, showers could linger into Wednesday. But drier air will arrive during the day on Wednesday with clearing skies…but an isolated shower is possible during the transition. Beautiful weather is in our forecast for Thursday and Friday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower to middle 80s.
