FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Tom Brady and the New England Patriots got the better of Peyton Manning once again.

Tom Brady threw touchdown passes to four different receivers while completing 33 of his 53 passes for 333 yards in the Patriots’ 43-21 win over Denver. Brady improved to 11-5 overall against Manning, including a 7-2 record at Foxborough.

Ron Gronkowski snared one of Brady’s four TD tosses and had nine receptions for 105 yards. Julian Edelman scored touchdowns on a five-yard catch and an 84-yard punt return while the Pats were scoring 24 unanswered points in the second quarter to carry a 27-7 lead into the locker room.

Manning finished with 438 passing yards and two touchdowns but two big interceptions as the Broncos ended a four-game winning streak and dropped to 6-2.

The AFC East-leading Patriots have won five straight since a 2-2 start.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Carson Palmer threw for three touchdowns to lead Arizona to a 28-17 win over Dallas. The Cardinals improved to 7-1 and have sole possession of the best record in the NFC for the first time since 1974.

Palmer rebounded after throwing an early pick-six to finish 22 of 34 for 249 yards.

The Cardinals defense became the first this season to hold Dallas running back DeMarco Murray to under 100-yards rushing. He wound up with 79. Arizona’s defense hasn’t allowed a 100-yard rushing performance in 18 straight games.

Dallas was without starting quarterback Tony Romo who was inactive after reportedly suffering two cracked bones in his back. Brandon Weeden got his first NFL start in Romo’s place and was out of sync with his receivers for most of the game. He wound up 18-of-33 for 183, a touchdown and two interceptions.

The Cowboys have lost two in a row to fall to 6-3.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Ryan Tannehill threw for 288 yards and three scores while Miami’s defense forced four turnovers to rout San Diego 37-0.

Tannehill went 24 for 34 and threw touchdown passes to Charles Clay, Rishard Matthews and Jarvis Landry.

San Diego’s Philip Rivers threw three interceptions, two to Brent Grimes, and was sacked three times. Rivers wound up 12-of-23 for just 138 passing yards.

The 5-3 Dolphins earned their third consecutive victory, while the 5-4 Chargers lost their third game in a row and remain winless in South Florida since January 1982.

Every Miami victory this season has been by double digits, and this was the most lopsided yet. San Diego was shut out for the first time since 1999, and the Dolphins earned their first shutout since 2006.

HOUSTON (AP) — Mark Sanchez replaced the injured Nick Foles and threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns to lead Philadelphia to a 31-21 win over Houston.

Foles injured his left shoulder late in the first quarter, forcing Sanchez into his first action since 2012 with the Jets. He threw two interceptions in three quarters, but made throws when he had to. Sanchez finished 15-of-22 with two touchdown tosses.

The 6-2 Eagles led by 3 when Jeremy Maclin grabbed a low throw from Sanchez for an 8-yard touchdown to make it 31-21 with about four minutes remaining.

Maclin finished with two touchdowns and 158 yards receiving and LeSean McCoy had 117 yards rushing for the Eagles.

Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 203 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for 4-5 Houston.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Alex Smith threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns to help Kanas City top the Jets 24-10, sending New York to its eighth straight loss. Jamaal Charles rushed for 78 yards and another score for the 5-3 Chiefs who have won three in a row and five of six.

Michael Vick went 21 of 27 for 196 yards and a touchdown in his first start for the Jets. He briefly left in the fourth quarter when he hit his head on the turf after being knocked down by the Chiefs’ Josh Mauga. Vick walked unsteadily off the field, but eventually returned later in the quarter.

Percy Harvin hauled in 11 passes for 129 yards for the Jets.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — The San Francisco 49ers are nothing more than a .500 team at 4-4 following a 13-10 loss to St. Louis. Greg Zuerlein (ZWER’-lyn) drilled a 39-yard field goal to snap a 10-10 tie with 5:25 to play.

Colin Kaepernick (KAP’-ur-nik) fumbled at the goal line with two seconds remaining to seal the outcome. Kaepernick lost a pair of fumbles and was sacked eight times while going 22 of 33 for 237 yards, including a 27-yard TD pass to Anquan Boldin early in the second half.

The Rams improved to 3-5 despite 13 first downs and just 193 total yards. Austin Davis threw for only 105 yards and was intercepted twice, but he also hit Kenny Britt for a 21-yard, game-tying TD late in the third quarter.

The Niners were held to 80 yards and 21 carries.

SEATTLE (AP) — Marshawn Lynch ran for two touchdowns while Seattle was building a 24-3 halftime lead in a 30-24 victory over winless Oakland. Bruce Irvin tipped and intercepted a Derek Carr pass and returned it 35 yards for a first-quarter TD, but the Seahawks’ offense went silent in the second half as the team settled for a pair of Steven Hauschka (HOWSH’-kah) field goals.

The Raiders scored on a blocked punt for a touchdown and two Mychal Rivera TD catches to pull within six points in the final minutes before falling to 0-8.

The Seahawks have a two-game winning streak and a 5-3 record after sending the Raiders to their 14th straight loss dating to last season.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Jeremy Hill ran for a career-high 154 yards and two touchdowns to help the Bengals hold on for a 33-23 victory over Jacksonville. One of Hill’s touchdown sprints covered 60 yards in the fourth quarter.

Andy Dalton threw a pair of touchdown passes for the AFC South-leading Bengals. One of them to A.J. Green in the Pro Bowl receiver’s return from a toe injury. Dalton has a pair of interceptions that kept the 1-8 Jaguars in the game.

Jacksonville turned Dalton’s second interception into Denard Robinson’s 5-yard touchdown run, cutting the lead to 26-23. Hill broke his long touchdown run on Cincinnati’s next play from scrimmage.

Rookie Blake Bortles helped the 5-2-1 Bengals seal it by throwing an interception to George Iloka in the end zone with 3:55 left. Bortles leads the NFL in interceptions.

He finished 22 of 33 for 247 yards with a pair of touchdown passes to Allen Hurns.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Matt Asiata ran for three scores and the Vikings spoiled Robert Griffin III’s return to the Redskins with a 29-26 victory. Asiata put the finishing touch on the back-and-forth game with a 1-yard scoring burst with 3:27 left in the game. He tacked on a two-point conversion run for good measure.

The lead changed five times in the second half.

Teddy Bridgewater outplayed Griffin down the stretch after a rough start. Bridgewater completed 26 of 42 passes for 268 yards for the 4-5 Vikings.

Griffin went 18 for 28 for 251 yards, one touchdown and one interception and was sacked five times. He was seeing his first action in six plus games after suffering a dislocated left ankle.

The Redskins fell to 3-6 despite 92 yards and two touchdowns rushing by Alfred Morris and 120 yards receiving from DeSean Jackson.

This was a rough day for the Redskins, starting with a crash between their two buses on the way to the stadium. No one was injured.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Brian Hoyer threw a 34-yard TD pass to Taylor Gabriel with 8:59 remaining, helping the Cleveland complete a 22-17 win over Tampa Bay. The Browns were trailing 17-16 when Hoyer completed his second TD pass. Hoyer finished 21 of 34 for 300 yards, two TDs and two interceptions. He improved to 8-3 as Cleveland’s starter.

The 5-3 Browns have their best record at the midway point since 2007 when they won 10 and barely missed the playoffs. Cleveland went 2-1 the past three weeks against Jacksonville, Oakland and Tampa Bay, who entered a combined 2-19.

Tampa Bay’s Mike Glennon threw a pair of 24-yard TDs to rookie Mike Evans for the 1-7 Buccaneers, who have lost four in a row and five this season by six points or less.

UNDATED (AP) — Among the later starts, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are squaring off in a match-up of two of the game’s best quarterbacks as New England hosts Denver. Winless Oakland is playing at Seattle and the 49ers are entertaining St. Louis.

The Sunday night game is a showdown of AFC North rivals as the Ravens invade Pittsburgh. Both teams are 5-3, tied for second in the division behind Cincinnati. Baltimore won the first meeting of the season between the two.
