Live Chat: George Wallace, WTOP’s Redskins beat reporter

WASHINGTON – RGIII reaffirmed hometown faith in the Redskins this weekend, following a 76-yard run on a quarterback draw that solidified the team’s 38-26 win over the Vikings, and broke the Burgundy and Gold’s 8-game winning drought at home.

Griffin’s run up the left sideline followed a similar effort last week against the Atlanta Falcons that left the QB phenom with his first concussion in professional play.

“I told the team,” Griffin said after the game, “I wasn’t going to leave them hanging.”

But the Heisman Trophy winner’s performance wasn’t the only highlight. Washington’s defense did an admirable job of reining in the Vikings, including safety Madieu Williams’ 24-yard touchdown on an interception.

George Wallace, WTOP’s Redskins beat reporter, takes your questions Monday afternoon as the D.C. region unpacks this much-needed “W.”
