Broncos’ Hillman, Webster fell ill at Dallas

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Cornerback Kayvon Webster and running back Ronnie Hillman didn’t return with the Denver Broncos from their preseason finale in Dallas on Thursday night after falling ill. Both were taken to a hospital and Webster was kept overnight.

The Denver Post first reported the story Saturday. The Broncos confirmed that neither player flew with the team back to Denver but didn’t provide any information about the nature of their illnesses.

Neither Hillman nor Webster played against the Cowboys, although both participated in a pregame conditioning workout for players who wouldn’t see action Thursday night.

Hillman is Montee Ball’s primary backup, and Webster is a backup along with rookie Bradley Roby behind Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.
