Roddy White sidelined with sore hamstring

ATLANTA (AP) — Atlanta receiver Roddy White was a surprise addition to Falcons’ list of inactive players Thursday night against Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers had All-Pro defensive tackle Gerald McCoy on their inactive list because of a broken left hand.

Falcons coach Mike Smith said two days ago that he was not concerned that White, a four-time Pro Bowl wideout, missed practice this week with a sore hamstring.

White, injured last week in a 24-10 loss at Cincinnati, was listed as questionable Wednesday on the injury report. Harry Douglas started in White’s spot.

Running back Doug Martin was inactive for the Bucs because of a knee injury. Bobby Rainey started in his place. Martin was limited in practice this week.

Bucs linebacker Mason Foster, as expected, couldn’t play because of a dislocated shoulder. Dane Fletcher started instead.
