Chuck Norris, wife warn of election’s consequences (VIDEO)

WASHINGTON – Hollywood tough guys sure are sharing their feelings this election season.

Shortly after Clint Eastwood’s bizarre and buzzed about discussion with an empty chair at the Republican National Convention, action star Chuck Norris appeared in a YouTube video warning about the possible consequences of the upcoming presidential election.

“If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack,” says Norris, standing next to his wife Gena. “We’re at a tipping point, and quite possibly our country as we know it may be lost forever, if we don’t change the course our country is headed.”

Gena goes on to point out that in 2008, an estimated 30 million evangelical Christian voters stayed home from the polls, and Barack Obama won by 10 million votes. The couple urges voter registration and participation, and Chuck says they can’t stand by and watch the country slide into “socialism, or something much worse.”

His wife also echoes President Ronald Reagan.

“We will preserve for our children this last best hope for man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness.”
