WASHINGTON - The woman rescued from the rubble of a grocery store six days after the earthquake in Haiti has an aunt who is a local businesswoman.

Solanges Vivens, who owns a management company in D.C., says it was her niece, Indra Lafonten, who was rescued live on CNN.

"It was a joy for us, for my family," Vivens says. "You can imagine seeing her coming out of the ruins."

Vivens has since talked to her niece. She says she lived on peanut butter and jelly for six days because she was trapped in the peanut butter and jelly aisle.

Vivens is now doing what she can to help the people of Haiti. She's given money and is trying to find out what happened to children who live in an orphanage that Vivens and her family built.

She says she is grateful for all the support from America and the whole world, but says "my prayer is that you continue to help." She says it will take years for the nation to rebuild.

In fact, Vivens hopes Haiti will be even better than it was before.

"I would like to see a new Haiti," she says.
