BALTIMORE, Md. - Two Montgomery County residents are accused of prostituting, drugging and threatening young girls.

Federal indictments were unsealed Tuesday against Lloyd Royal, 28, of Fort George and Angela Bentolila, 26, of Potomac, and both are under arrest.

U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein says the two created a sex-trafficking scheme involving three girls.

Prosecutors say the girls were drugged with cocaine, marijuana, alcohol or cigarettes dipped in PCP, then forced to have sex with customers in Gaithersburg or D.C.

Prosecutors also accuse Royal of forcing the girls to have sex with him. He's also accused of hitting the girls, holding one at gunpoint, and threatening to harm their families.

Bentolila is accused of allowing the girls to have sex with customers in her home and car.

If convicted, Royal faces up to life in prison. Bentolila faces a maximum of five years behind bars.
