The winning bid for coffee with Apple CEO Tim Cook in an online charity auction was $610,000, according to CNN.
The auction, to raise money for the RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights, had 86 bidders and the winner’s identity was not disclosed. The auction site, Charity Buzz, valued the meeting at $50,000. Many of the bidders were companies who wanted to do business with Apple Inc., such as app startups, according to the report.
