Toddler mugged by thieves in New York City

WASHINGTON – A 3-year-old boy was mugged while sitting in his stroller last week in New York City.

Two thieves followed the boy, his brother and mother home from a laundromat, and struck in the lobby of their Brooklyn apartment building at about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The New York Post reports the thieves made off with a $400 gold chain that was on the boy’s neck — a baptism gift from his godparents.
