Police seek liquor store thieves

WASHINGTON – Three people smashed the window of an ABC store in Fairfax County over the weekend, stole alcohol and fled, according to Fairfax County Police officials.

Now, police are asking for help from residents who may recognize the suspects shown in a security video released this week.

The three people broke into the ABC store at 13944 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Chantilly shortly before 4 a.m. Sunday, June 22, according to Fairfax County Police. Detectives say they think the three people were in the store for just a couple of minutes, “as they grabbed an assortment of vodka, gin, whiskey and other spirits from the shelves,” according to information released with the video.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact detectives in the Fair Oaks District station at 703-591-0966, ext. 2242.
