Injuries reported in Atlanta airport shuttle crash

ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities say several people were injured in a multi-vehicle wreck involving a hotel shuttle near Atlanta’s main airport.

East Point fire department spokeswoman Renita Shelton says four people were injured in a crash involving a Hilton airport shuttle near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Thursday morning. Shelton says three vehicles were involved in the crash and one passenger was ejected.

Hilton Worldwide spokeswoman Lisa Cole said in an emailed statement that the company is cooperating with authorities in the investigation. Cole says Hilton has been in contact with local hospitals and the families of injured passengers.

Shelton says injured passengers haven been taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and South Fulton Medical Center. Shelton says a shuttle passenger and the drivers of the other two vehicles that were involved refused treatment.
