Information session for would-be bike commuters includes tips on bike types and maintenance, how to find a good route to work and how to ride comfortably in traffic.

A book club for on-the-go Arlington residents who like to read “the kind of book that makes Metro stops and miles fly by, but doesn’t take six weeks to finish.”

Saturday

Time: 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.

A 5K race to support human rights. The event include food, drink and a DJ. Registration price has been lowered for furloughed federal employees.

Time: 8:00 p.m.

The MarchFourth Marching Band and others perform for this Andy Warhol-themed dance party. Tickets are $15 in advance.
