Five arrested after drugs, guns seized in Md. police raid

WASHINGTON – Police say they found guns and “thousands” of dollars worth of illegal drugs during a raid on a home in Lanham.

Prince George’s County police say they found the items as officers executed a search warrant on a home on Dubarry Avenue on Nov. 26.

Officer First Class Nicole Hubbard says police found what they believe to be 94 grams of marijuana and 1 gram of cocaine. Additionally, nine different weapons – mostly shotguns – were taken from the home.

Hubbard says five people were arrested. They face charges including possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
