Beacon Hill Bandit strikes again on Little River Turnpike

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at the TD Bank located at 7209 Little River Turnpike in Annandale, Va. on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Detectives believe this same suspect may be responsible for several other bank robberies and the FBI has dubbed him the “Beacon Hill Bandit.”

According to Fairfax County police, the man entered the bank around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 10 and passed the 31-year-old teller a note demanding money. The victim was unable to give him cash so he fled the bank. There were no injuries.

The suspect has been described by police as a 6-foot tall black man with a medium build and in his 40s. He left the area in an older model, box-style Jeep Cherokee.
