WASHINGTON – A 9-year-old girl is missing in Laurel, Md.

Jeanne Bioj disappeared Tuesday night after she came home from school.

She was last seen near the Scotchtown Hills Elementary, near Millbrook Lane and Woodbrine Drive in Laurel.

Police are calling this a critical missing person case because of Bioj’s age, but they do not believe there was any foul play involved.

She is African American, 4-foot-10, 80 pounds and has shoulder-length braided hair.

Police say she was wearing a blue shirt, navy blue pants, black shoes and an oversized gray jacket.

Anyone with information should call the Laurel Police Department at 1-301-498-0092.
