Arrest made in fatal stabbing of D.C. man

WASHINGTON – Metropolitan Police have arrested a man in the fatal stabbing of a taxi repair shop manager during a robbery in southwest.

Twenty-nine-year-old Darryl Matthews of Washington was arrested Tuesday and charged with second-degree murder while armed.

Matthews is accused of killing 60-year-old Hayes Osei Dennis of Fort Washington, Md., on July 19. Dennis, the father of seven, was found suffering from a stab wound outside the Gold Star Cab Company and pronounced dead at a hospital.
