Va. zoo seeks artists to make bird-tape designs

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — The Virginia Zoo is again looking for volunteers to design artwork out of reflective tape.

The tape is used to help reduce the risk of birds flying into animal exhibit windows.

Last year three volunteers created artwork using tape at the Norfolk zoo’s tiger pool and otter-gibbon viewing areas.

The deadline to apply is Sept. 2.
