Gun seized at Richmond International, 2nd in June

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A Chesterfield County man has been cited for attempting to bring a loaded gun past a security checkpoint at Richmond International Airport.

The Transportation Security Administration says the passenger cited Tuesday was the second time this month a weapon has been seized at the checkpoint. The TSA says the traveler Tuesday was found to have a .357-caliber firearm loaded with five rounds.

The TSA says the man was cited by airport police. His name was not released by the TSA, but he lives in Midlothian.
