Car catches fire on Woodrow Wilson Bridge

OXON HILL, Md. (AP) — Authorities are investigating after a car burst into flames on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge over the Potomac River.

The Virginia State Police says it happened around 3 p.m. Saturday.

Television station WJZ-TV reports (http://cbsloc.al/1m8cZZA ) no other cars were involved and no injuries are reported.

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge connects the city of Alexandria in Virginia to Oxon Hill in Maryland’s Prince George’s County.
