Boat overturns near Reagan National Airport, three rescued

WASHINGTON – Three people were rescued from the Potomac River Monday night after a large boat overturned near Reagan National Airport.

The D.C. Fire Department tells WTOP it happened just before 10:30 p.m. They believe there were three people on the boat and there’s no word yet on whether they were hurt.

The cause of the capsizing is being investigated.
