Foggy Bottom escalator service restored

UPDATE at 6:10 a.m.: Metro says escalator service has been restored.

WASHINGTON – Metro commuters using the Foggy Bottom station are having a rough start Tuesday.

Metro says all the entrance escalators are out of service because of a mechanical problem.

The station remains open, but shuttle buses have been requested for riders who don’t want to walk up or down those escalators.
