The Maryland State Highway Administration says it's building a new Park and Ride lot for commuter ride-sharing near Hagerstown.
Located just off Balls Ford Road and Cushing Road, the lot provides a direct on-ramp connection to eastbound Interstate 66 for vehicles with two or more people in them.
The commute to Linda Baer's D.C. job is a marathon, taking her through multiple modes of transportation and spanning about 3 1/2 hours.
A new park and ride is set to open soon in Fairfax County, with bus service to Franconia-Springfield Metro Station and the Pentagon.
