2 dozen area parks eliminate trash cans, not trash
Trash cans have been removed from more than two dozen parks along the George Washington Memorial Parkway in an effort to force visitors to pick up after themselves. The National Park Service says the move will also better use staff, who no longer have to empty trash cans.
